Canadians Watch More Online Video

Posted on July 7, 2009

With broad band Internet service becoming faster and cheaper, people are turning to online video in large numbers .

“Online video consumption is on the rise around the world, and Canadians watch more than anyone else. ComScore reports that Canadians watched almost 33 per cent more videos online in April than they had two months previously, taking 858 minutes per viewer.

That puts their consumption ahead of the U.S., U.K., France and Germany, comScore said.”

When looking for a new home, more then 75% of Canadians start on the internet. Combine that with the increased hours Canadians are watching online video, realtors, sellers and buyers will benefit from real estate video tours marketed on the web.
